Our service for international students starts with a Discovery Session, at reduced cost, to inquire about the student's interests and goals for study in the US.
Ongoing 1-on-1 advisory services provides information about colleges that fit students’ objectives and interests and we provide a spoken language acquisition tool that helps students develop near-native English language speaking ability. American U is available for three, five or seven session packages and students may add sessions as they proceed.

We learn about each student's interests and goals and use these lists as well as other resources to identify a number of schools that align with the student's interests and goals. The next step is to provide advice on the application process. Here we break the admissions process into four steps and provide strategy at each step to help position the international student for acceptance.

American U is dedicated to helping international students develop well rounded social and professional networks. We understand the comfort of being in peer groups of your country or region and we appreciate the challenge of fitting into mainstream cliques in the USA. Our approach is to suggest small steps international students can take that help them feel apart of things during their college years. We've observed that this approach leads to rewarding outcomes for all involved.

Meet our Founder!!
Christopher Meyer
I was an admissions tour guide for four years at George Washington University, and upon graduating with a BA in East Asian Studies, I joined the international division of Fortune 500 consumer products company, and later worked in the US diplomatic corps. I enrolled in the University of Southern California’s MBA program and worked as assistant to the admissions director as part of a scholarship arrangement.
I’ve been on a journey to learn how the US education phenomenon can help more people, particularly in disadvantaged segments of society.
